Aubertine for State Senate

Its time to bring real change to Albany and real change comes with a Democratic Senate. For too long, the Republicans have played off Upstate's fear of Downstate in order to prevent a progressive agenda for all New Yorkers.

Darrel Aubertine is a dairy farmer who understands the struggle that working class families are having in the Bush Recession. He believes in the ideals of the Democratic Party: equality, family and the working class.

He has focused on access to affordable healthcare, securing good-paying jobs, protecting sportsman’s rights, looking out for our family farms, ensuring a sound education for our kids and reducing property taxes. Darrel knows what it is like to struggle with monthly bills, and to pay hundreds a month for his family’s health insurance —a struggle facing far too many Central and Northern New York families. That’s why he helped to expand Family Health Plus to more rural families, and why he helped secure over $1 million for the North Country Children’s Clinic. Darrel knows the challenge of paying high property taxes. He bought his first farm at 17, and was the only kid in school paying school taxes. That’s why he has worked to rein in property taxes and reduce waste in all levels of government.
With his experience, he will be an important part of the New Democratic Majority in the New York State Senate. We NEED Darrel Aubertine working for Upstate New York.

If you are interested in traveling to the 48th District to help bring the Democratic Majority in the State Senate we are coordinating a possible trip to the district so contact us at SchenectadyYD@gmail.com and we'll keep you updated on our plans or get you in touch with people who will help.
